Woman Accused Of Poisoning Ravens Star Lamar Jackson

A woman was accused of poisoning Ravens star Lamar Jackson prior to Baltimore’s season-ending 28-12 loss this weekend.

Heading into the divisional round game between Jackson’s group and the Tennessee Titans, few people gave the latter squad much of a shot.

The Ravens were simply too offensively talented, the experts insisted.

When that proved to be untrue, folks scrambled to find someone to blame for the Ravens’ embarrassing defeat.

That someone ended up being a restaurant owner who posed alongside Jackson in an Instagram photo that later went viral.

Shortly after Baltimore’s collapse, trolls began harassing Cia Carter of Miss Carter’s Kitchen and accusing her poisoning Jackson before the outing.

“Hadda be sum innat chicken thatchu gave my QB,” one user posted.

“He was [out] there cramping up inna stomach why you do it?”

There is absolutely zero evidence that Jackson was cramping or in any way negatively impacted by food during Saturday’s game, but that did not stop some fans from going nuts.

Another user very blatantly stated that Carter had “poisoned my quarterback.”

Carter attempted to push back against the nonsensical criticism with facts.

“He’s been eating it all year dummy,” she wrote. But obviously it was to no avail. The internet has a hivemind of its own.

In an interview with the Baltimore Sun, Carter insisted that she was not letting the trolls get to her.

“They’re angry at me and they’re blaming me,” she said.

“I don’t get it, but I have a lot of supporters.”

Ravens fans may feel better by blaming the wrong person for their team’s defeat, but that does not change the end result.

With Baltimore out of the playoff picture, the Kansas City Chiefs and Titans will now battle it out for the AFC crown next weekend.
