Saquon Barkley’s Girlfriend Anna Congdon Steals Show At Bears Game

Saquon Barkley’s Girlfriend Anna Congdon Steals Show At Bears Game

Saquon Barkley promised a revenge tour in 2022, and thus far the talented running back has delivered on his pledge.

In something of a kooky game between the Chicago Bears and New York Giants that saw the latter group lose two quarterbacks, Barkley proved to be a stabilizing factor.

Not only did he rush for 146 yards on 31 carries, he also ran the Giants’ wildcat offense when Daniel Jones hurt his ankle and Tyrod Taylor exited with a concussion.

One person who was on hand to witness Barkley work his magic? His girlfriend, Anna Congdon.

Congdon shared these glimpses into the day that was on her Instagram account:

This isn’t the first time Congdon has blown up online in this fashion. She also left quite the impression several weeks ago after New York’s showdown against the Tennessee Titans.

Although she isn’t super active on social media, Congdon boasts nearly 90,000 followers on Instagram and does particularly impressive engagement numbers on her posts:

After watching her longtime beau be bogged down by injuries, this season is a welcome sight for Congdon.

Barkley has been an absolute beast in 2022. Nothing better encapsulates the level he has been playing at than this particular sequence from Sunday:

Just sheer insanity.

As good as Barkley has been this season, it’s hard to know where the Giants go from here. Obviously a lot depends on the severity of Jones’ injury, but clearly they need to bolster the quarterback group.

One name will inevitably be floated – but time will tell what direction New York opts to go in.

The Giants are actually playing surprisingly well to start 2022-23, but it’s hard to make the case that they are better than either the Philadelphia Eagles or Dallas Cowboys. At the moment, it feels like they have been overachieving.

They also have something of a rough short-term schedule ahead. A London game against an admittedly up-and-down Green Bay Packers group is next, followed by a similarly inconsistent Baltimore Ravens squad and a slowly-maturing Jacksonville Jaguars team.

It’s hard to see how New York isn’t sitting at 3-4 in one month’s time.

The Brian Daboll Era is off to a great start. And it’s incredible to see Barkley thriving like this. But in light of injuries and schedule, expectations need to be tempered.

The Giants are good right now. They’re growing and developing. And in the years to come, they might be a really strong team.

For now, though – this is probably as good as it’s going to get in 2022-23.
