Colin Kaepernick has teamed up with Ben & Jerry’s for an interesting new ice cream flavor.
Its name? Change the Whirled.
The flavor, which is non-dairy, will feature caramel ice cream with fudge chips, graham cracker swirls, and chocolate cookie dough.
I’ve teamed up with @BenAndJerrys to serve up joy on the journey to justice!
Today, we’re excited to introduce Change the Whirled, a new non-dairy flavor that hits shelves in early-2021!

According to Kaepernick, the ice cream is coming out next year and all proceeds from it will go to the Know Your Rights Camp.
The Know Your Rights Camp describes its mission as “the liberation and well-being of Black and Brown communities through education, self-empowerment, mass-mobilization and the creation of new systems that elevate the next generation of change leaders.”
Reactions to the announcement were somewhat predictable.

I know they’re getting a lot of flak for this, but personally, I’m glad they went with non-dairy.
This way it tastes like the essence of Kaepernick’s career: failure.

Kaepernick’s name was recently in consideration for a potential NFL comeback, but thus far nothing has come to fruition.
Will the former San Francisco 49ers star ever play professional football again?
It is increasingly looking like the answer to that question is no.
