Charissa Thompson was and continues to be one of the most respected sports broadcasters in entertainment today.
Although she has covered a number of leagues throughout her various stints at ESPN, FOX and Amazon – Thompson these days is most closely associated with the NFL.
Between her coverage of Thursday Night Football on Amazon and NFL Gameday Sunday on FOX, a large composition of her fan base consists of football fans.
This week Thompson offered something of a personal confession on her podcast, openly discussing her first time.
“Oh, on the pregame… we were talking about our first kiss,” she said.
“I had my first kiss when I was 12 years old, But I lost my virginity early. I’m just gonna go right into it. I mean, well, look, I’m still friends with the guy. But how about this? I lost my virginity at 15 years old. So you think about it now like a 15-year-old, like, ‘oh my god that’s so young.’ that was my boyfriend all the way into high school.
“I mean, you know, you’re young when I had braided pigtails. When I like went over to this. It was all arranged… I was just like, this was like my love. He went to a different junior high than I did. And we met because I played on a basketball team with girls that (went to his) junior high and we met and we fell in love,” she continued.
“And then he was my boyfriend all the way through until like junior year in high school and then he broke up with me because he dated a sophomore and I was so upset.”
Understandably, all the NFL fans following her had strong reactions to the revelation.
“You girls are funny, thank you for the laughs,” one person wrote in the comments section of their video.
“I swear we are all best friends in my head,” another person added.
This isn’t the first time in recent weeks that Thompson has blown up in this fashion. Between her extremely racy airplane story, her provocative outfit this past Sunday and her very wild vacation photos – it has been one thing after another with her.
In that respect, this most recent news item is just par for the course. She is that sort of headline-maker these days.

With the NFL season in full swing, this almost certainly isn’t the last time Thompson will go viral.
What will she ultimately set the internet ablaze for next?
Time will tell.
