Danica Patrick's Dance Video From Indy 500 Goes Viral
A Danica Patrick dance video from this year’s Indy 500 went viral this weekend amid Josef Newgarden incredible victory.
Coming into this race, Newgarden had tried and failed to win the Indy 500 for 11 years.
The 12th time proved to be the charm for him, though. Thanks to an incredible pass of defending champ Marcus Ericsson, Newgarden utilized everything his Chevrolet-powered vehicle had to secure a victory for his side.
Amazingly enough, despite the epic story behind Newgarden and his memorable win, he wasn’t the one that stole all the headlines on Sunday.
That honor went to Patrick.
Patrick decided to do a little dance ahead of the big race, and it immediately set the internet ablaze.

Understandably, fans absolutely loved it.
“Danica is always dancing. She’s an incredible woman. She’s amazing! Love the pink,” one person wrote.
Obviously this isn’t the first time in recent days Patrick has blown up online in this fashion. Between her wild bathing suit video, provocative workout photos and memorable vacation pictures, it has been one thing after another with her.
In addition to all that, there is also Patrick’s social media output. That too never fails to impress.

Big picture, Patrick was and clearly still is arguably the biggest name in all of racing.
There is a reason she continues to be such a mainstay at the intersection of sports and entertainment despite having long since retired.

Patrick’s place in the larger cultural zeitgeist is secure.
