Devin Booker’s on-again, off-again relationship with Kendall Jenner turned him into a mainstay within the larger cultural zeitgeist.
While NBA fans obviously always acknowledged Booker as a star and one of the league’s faces, the general public only came to know him for being Booker’s boyfriend.
The pair’s very public displays of love for each other initially endeared them to folks monitoring their relationship.
Unfortunately, last year, their romance came to a halt. Since then, Jenner has been dating rap star Bad Bunny. Booker hasn’t been happy about that, to say the least.
This week, fans discovered that Booker has actually been keeping tabs on Jenner this time entire time:
Yikes. An embarrassing look, obviously.
With a major breakthrough in the Josh Giddey scandal and the real reason for Erik Spoelstra’s divorce recently emerging, maybe Booker’s embarrassing flop here won’t get as much attention as it otherwise would.
But it is still a pretty humiliating look.
As for Jenner, she seems to be thriving since splitting with Booker. She hasn’t really spared him much in the way of consideration, especially publicly.
A quick scan of her social media confirms that she is living her best life:

Obviously break-ups are difficult. They are hard when you are a regular person, and probably doubly so when you are famous.
In that respect, Booker’s actions are unsurprising.

That said, they are still unfortunate.
Will Booker and Jenner eventually get to a place where they could simply be happy for each other going forward? Time will tell.
