Stephen Curry is the greatest shooter in NBA history.
Because of everything the Golden State Warriors star has accomplished throughout the course of his lengthy career, he has influenced an entire generation of youngsters.
One person whose game looks an awful lot like Curry’s is Iowa star, Caitlin Clark.
Over the past few weeks Clark has blown up online for everything ranging from her childish behavior being called out to her faking being hit by a fan.
This week, Curry appeared on CBS Mornings and got brutally honest about the comparisons between his game and Clark’s game.
“I’ve been watching from afar and understanding just how much of a power she is out there on the court,” Curry said Jericka Duncan.
“The cool part is the way that she plays, and her range, and the level of difficulty on her shots is obviously a very close comparison to the way that I play.”
Iowa’s Caitlin Clark has been compared to Steph Curry because of her ability to knock down three-pointers.

That said, Curry believes the comparison fails in one regard.
“But I think it almost robs her of like the rest of her game,” he continued.
“Because she’s such a good floor [general], she has her overall floor game. She’s racking up close to triple-doubles every night. Her shooting ability is her super power but the rest of her game is as polished as that, so this is must-see TV.”
Curry also made it a point to shout out everything Clark has done for the women’s game.

“I love what it has done for women’s basketball in terms of when she shows up the seats are filled and there’s a different energy,” he added.
Curry departed Davidson with a ton of hype, but just as many questions regarding how he would fare at the pro level. It is safe to say he exceeded all expectations during his time in the NBA.
Will Clark be able to do something similar in the WNBA next year? Time will tell.
