Caitlin Clark Called Out For Childish Behavior On Bench

Caitlin Clark has had a fantastic year for Iowa throughout 2024, but Sunday’s game against Nebraska proved to be frustrating at times for her.

At one point in the outing Clark found herself having gone 2-of-13 from the field and 0-of-9 from beyond the arc.

Understandably, she was annoyed.

How did that manifest itself? With something of a childish tantrum on the bench:

So far the only person to publicly call out and ridicule Clark this season has been LSU head coach Kim Mulkey.

On Sunday, some other folks jumped on the bandwagon:

Eventually Clark righted the ship against Nebraska and helped Iowa make a late rally, but it didn’t erase the memory of her hissy fit.

Obviously Clark is a fantastic talent, but a certain behavioral standard is expected out of everyone.

Clark didn’t follow it during her Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament championship showdown against Nebraska.

Hopefully she learns from the experience and becomes better off for it.

Will Clark address her tantrum and apologize for it at some point before the weekend concludes? Time will tell.
