Shocking Carmelo Anthony Texts Leak After La La Divorce (Photos)
La La Anthony filed for divorce from Portland Trail Blazers star Carmelo Anthony this week.
La La entered divorce papers in New York court on Thursday, more than 10 years after initially getting married to the former Syracuse legend.
Although there has been chatter of the pair splitting for years, the general abruptness of this move caught a lot of people off guard.
It also made many pose the obvious question: why now?
On Friday, an answer emerged.
According to Hollywood Unlocked, another woman recently exposed Carmelo for being the alleged dad of her premature twin babies.
“While she admits that she’s no angel, she says she honestly didn’t feel bad about seeing Carmelo because she alleges that she also knows ‘who’s f*cking LaLa too!’ Aside from that, in September, the woman found out she was pregnant with twins,” the report noted.
“The plan was for her to get an abortion in LA, which Carmelo agreed to as neither of them wanted it to turn into a bigger situation. The woman, 38, said she needed a medical abortion, which means she had to be accompanied by someone. But Carmelo never flew back from Portland to LA to show up for the procedure.”

As a result, she never ended up having the abortion. After the fact, she and Carmelo reportedly came up with a plan for her to fly out to London to have the babies under the pretense that he would come out there and visit when his season was over.
“To note, the woman said as the two were figuring out what they were going to do, Carmelo suggested making the babies British citizens,” the report continued.
“She said she figured he would say that because it’s hard to update the birth certificates, and knew she would eventually want his last name on it. She said she went ahead and did so, but quickly reversed it because she knew it was the wrong move. The babies were born in April, prematurely as they came out two months early!
“Sadly, they are still in the hospital as they have to remain there until her due date, which was scheduled for mid-June. (This is common for premature babies). However, the woman shared that her son developed problems with his brain and lacked oxygen, so he needed surgery. The surgery happened earlier this month, and she tried to contact Carmelo as doctors told the woman her son was not waking up. However, she alleged that Carmelo never answered.”
Text messages were then presented that allegedly back the woman’s claims up.

It remains unclear how big of a role this situation played in La La’s abrupt decision to file for divorce.
Carmelo, 36, has played 18 seasons in the NBA and will be a free agent this offseason. He recently got very honest about a possible return to the New York Knicks, and it will be interesting to see where he ultimately ends up playing come next season.
