Shaq Reveals Who Is Better Between Stephen Curry, Damian Lillard
Shaquille O’Neal is one of the greatest NBA players of all time. As such, he is uniquely qualified to speak on the talents of other basketball stars – both past and present.
This week Shaq delved into something of a compelx topic: who he would prefer to play with out of Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors and Damian Lillard of the Milwaukee Bucks.
You will recall, Curry and Lillard have exchanged some petty digs at one another in the past. Their rivalry is definitely real.
Shaq approached the matter fairly analytically.
“Know them both,” he said.
“Respect them both. Love them both. But sometimes when things are answered like this and they go viral, people take it personal and it will never be personal with me.”
Shaq states he would prefer to play with Damian Lillard rather than Steph Curry during clutch situations because he believes Lillard is a better standstill shooter

“Steph is the best shooter. But Dame Time is clutch at that shot… I’mma have to go with Dame Lillard. Steph Curry is the best shooter…
“I’ve seen Dame hit a lot of standstill shots or just get in one position and I think playing with me he’d be able to catch (a pass), step into the shot and hit it… Both great players. But I think playing with me it’d probably be Dame Lillard.”
Stuff like this is why people love Shaq. Yes, sometimes he goes viral for unfortunate things like the drug he took before his Los Angeles Lakers games and those text messages a groupie of his exposed.

But when he is talking hoops – no one is more entertaining.
