Reggie Miller Names Best Player In NBA Today
Reggie Miller is one of the most polarizing hoops analysts in the NBA today.
Much like Shaquille O’Neal, people either really love Miller’s takes or they absolutely despise them.
As such, it should come as no surprise that when the TNT broadcaster offered his thoughts on who the league’s current best player is, it immediately went viral.
This past week Miller appeared on the Dan Patrick Show and got very honest about who he views as the best player in the NBA today.
Given the way this past season turned out, Miller’s answer may catch some by surprise – but it probably shouldn’t.
“I will always go with a healthy LeBron James as the best player. Just for the simple fact that he does everything,” Miller said.
“Healthy, I mean – before he went down with an injury he was in the discussion for the MVP. He was one of the top-3 candidates before the ankle injury. I mean, he’s gonna give you 25, 8, and 8 (…) he lifts up his teammates.”

James’ season obviously didn’t end the way he hoped it would, but the Los Angeles Lakers’ offseason outlook speaks for itself.
Presuming that James’ top offseason priority ends up met, there is a good chance he’ll end up proving Miller right come next year.
