Liv Cook’s Parents’ Plan For Josh Giddey Revealed By NBA Insider
Oklahoma City Thunder guard Josh Giddey found himself in the headlines last week for the most unfortunate of reasons.
According to reports, Giddey stands accused of dating a high schooler named Liv Cook. Multiple troubling videos of the pair seemingly emerged in the aftermath of the initial claims being made, as did a number of unfortunate social media posts.
Shortly thereafter, Giddey’s Thunder teammates began deleting problematic tweets involving him.
This week, former NBA player and current insider Andrew Bogut shared some interesting information regarding Giddey’s troubles.
“If Josh was 19, 20, 21 and knowingly seeking out a 15-year-old girl, absolutely despicable behavior, I’m strongly against it,” Bogut said during a podcast appearance.
“… I don’t think this is that from what I understand. If I’m wrong I’ll come back and apologize, I don’t think it is that. I think the girl was younger. From what I understand is, the girl in question has lied about her age and said that she was of age at the time.”
Bogut didn’t stop there. He also insisted that, because of the circumstances surrounding this situation, Cook’s parents will not press charges against Giddey.
It will be interesting to see if Bogut ends up being right. It isn’t clear why he would be privy to this information, but he seems to be suggesting that he is.
As far as Giddey goes, he has remained relatively quiet since initial allegations were made. He was briefly linked to a second high schooler, but soon after Thunder fans uncovered an online video that they believe exonerates him.
The Thunder, meanwhile, are continuing to let Giddey play while the investigation sorts itself out. The real reason for this was revealed yesterday.

One way or another, eventually this process will reach its logical resolution. The investigation will conclude and the truth will come out.
How will Giddey, Cook and everyone else involved in this matter ultimately proceed? Time will tell, but hopefully all parties involved get the justice they deserve.
