Los Angeles Clippers fans got something of a treat this week when Kawhi Leonard decided to show off his personality during Media Day.

Leonard, one of the league’s more unique characters, always knows how to make an impression. Whether it is with his slick moves with females sitting courtside or his birthday boat party shenanigans, the man is a natural born star.

It was more of the same this week.

At Media Day, Leonard posed for one particularly funny-looking photo.

Fans reacted to the imagery immediately.

They weren’t shy about offering their two cents on the topic.

“When Kawhi is happy it just makes me happy idk why,” one person wrote.

“You know is a good day when u see Kawhi smiling,” a second person agreed.

“Kawhi smiling is crazy,” a third fan wrote.

Needless to say, Leonard is one of the NBA’s most notable and interesting stars. And he has had a very busy summer.

Be it for his impressive body transformation, partying it up with Rick Ross at the club or attending baseball games with his girlfriend, Leonard has been a mainstay in the news cycle.

His Media Day pose going viral is just par for the course.

Aside from his funny pose, the other intriguing thing that Leonard made waves for this week was his strong commentary on the NBA’s new load management policy.

“I’m not a guy that’s sitting down because I’m doing load management,” he said, per Bleacher Report.

“Well, when I was with the Raptors, it was different; like, I was coming [off] an injury. And you have to know the details from the doctor. But if the league is seeing or trying to mock what I did with the Raptors, they should stop because I was injured during that whole year.

“Other than that, if I’m able to play, I’ll play basketball. I work out every day in the summertime to play the game. So, no league policy is helping me to play more games.”

The 2023-24 NBA season is going to be a very consequential one for Leonard and his legacy.

Will Leonard be able to guide the Clippers to that ever-elusive NBA championship this season? Time will tell.
