Bronny James’ collegiate commitment to USC sent major reverberations throughout the recruiting world.

As LeBron James’ eldest son, Bronny always had a certain amount of hype surrounding him. But during his final season of high school ball, Bronny really solidified that he has a skillset that could translate very well to the next level.

After getting the hard sell from USC, Ohio State and Oregon – Bronny ultimately decided to remain in Los Angeles. The prospect of playing near his Los Angeles Lakers star dad and all his new friends proved too alluring to pass up.

While residing in L.A. comes with a lot of positives, it also comes with a few negatives. Namely: the nonstop attention that celebrities get.

This week, Bronny got a firsthand lesson that lack of privacy when imagery emerged of him on a ‘date’ with a new girl.

According to TMSPN, who landed the exclusive photo first, a fan who was also at the restaurant seemingly described the date as a ‘romantic’ one.

The young woman in question, apparently, is a fairly prominent presence on social media.

She has more than 84,000 followers and routinely blows up for her salacious content.

What’s interesting about this, of course, is that Bronny was literally just linked to a different girl not too long ago. It’s unclear what the status of that relationship is.

There’s also something really funny about the fact that Bronny’s date night imagery stole the attention away from Michael Jordan’s intimate date night photos with his wife. It really speaks to Bronny’s growing cultural relevance.

Big picture, romantic stuff aside, it will be fascinating to see how Bronny’s first season as a member of the Trojans goes.

Obviously much was made over an NBA scout’s recent analysis of his skills and who his “best case NBA player comparison” is, but nobody really knows anything until Bronny plays a game for USC.

That’s when folks will truly get a better idea of where he stands as a basketball player.

In the meantime, Bronny will continue to enjoy his life as a famous 18-year-old living in Los Angeles. What will he ultimately go viral for next? Time will tell.
