The Los Angeles Lakers earned an impressive 128-124 overtime victory over the Milwaukee Bucks this week.
While LeBron James did not play in the outing, he still found a way to make his mark on the game.
Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo has a very well-known free-throw shooting routine. It has been the subject of much ridicule.
During his most recent showdown with the Lakers, Antetokounmpo fell victim to James mocking his free-throw shooting routine from the bench:
LeBron James was counting down while Giannis shot his free throws, where he missed both of them 😬

Understandably, given James and Antetokounmpo’s role within the larger hoops cultural zeitgeist, folks had some strong reactions to the clip:
Making fun from outside. Sure if he played Lakers lose by 20

Not only being unprofessional he’s also speaking out loud while another player is shooting free throws and doing in street clothes from the bench back in the day he would pay for this

Big picture, Antetokounmpo is shooting 66 percent from the charity stripe this year.
James is shooting 75.1 percent.

Given all the time Antetokounmpo takes shooting free throws, it is understandably why someone like James would mock him.
Will Antetokounmpo face off in the NBA Finals this year against James so that the two can settle their little joking rivalry on the court? Time will tell.
