Social media influencer Larsa Pippen and Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen were married for 19 years and share four children together.
Unfortunately, somewhere along the way, their relationship crumbled. Scottie filed for divorce in 2016, only for the pair to attempt to mend things in 2017. Sadly that didn’t work.
In 2018, Larsa filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
Three years later, in December 2021, Larsa and Scottie finalized their separation – but not before things took a very ugly turn.
During a recent appearance on The Real Housewives of Miami, Larsa revealed just how ugly the back-and-forth between her and Scottie had gotten.
Essentially, in direct reaction to her request that their Miami home be put up for sale, the NBA legend allegedly used their daughter Sophie in a way she believed to be unacceptable.
“I was traumatized,” Larsa said. “If he doesn’t get his way, he punishes me. He’s like The Punisher.”
As described by Charmaine Patterson of People Magazine, Larsa later accused her former husband of always needing to control the narrative.
“This is like his last piece of control that he’s got over me and the kids,” she noted, before adding that “he’s only punishing me because I’m making him sell the house.”
Larsa went on to add that this is a reoccurring theme with Scottie, and that he is “pushing all the buttons to let me know that he’s still in charge and because I’m doing whatever makes me happy.”
The drama between Larsa and Scottie has played out on the national stage for years now. Between him taking her back despite her affairs, his explanation for it and the financial ramifications of everything that has happened – Scottie has taken a lot of very public Ls.
Larsa, meanwhile, has found herself in the headlines for things like her controversial Instagram posts, racy viral photos and interesting links to everyone from Bronny James to Z-list sports stars.

Many hoped that Larsa and Scottie getting divorced would settle things once and for all, allowing both to lead more private lives.
If recent history is any indication, though – that’s probably not going to happen.
