Kevin Durant has really come out of his shell over the last few years.
The once mild-mannered and relatively quiet NBA star has started to express himself more and more as of late.
The trend continued this week, when sometimes-actor Michael Rapaport leaked a series of private messages that Durant sent to him in response to a tweet that he sent out.
Needless to say, Durant was very expressive in them.
For obvious reasons, the messages went viral.
“I receive threats and disgusting messages DAILY, but never in my wildest dreams did I think @KDTrey5 would be among them. The 🐍 himself is now threatening me, bringing up my wife and wants to fight. This is supposed to be America’s sweetheart right?” Rapaport wrote.
This isn’t the first time Durant has found himself in a sticky situation. A few months back, Wiz Khalifa exposed him for being a terrible friend. Then he got busted creeping on Oklahoma track star Brooke Thomas’ page. And of course, nobody can forget his memorable beef with Charles Barkley.
Seeing as the NBA has previously fined and/or suspended players like Kobe Bryant and Rajon Rondo for using anti-gay slurs on the court, it remains to be seen whether Durant will ultimately face any sort of punishment.
