Kawhi Leonard Reveals 2 Keys To Clippers’ Success This Season

The Los Angeles Clippers are 37-19 and currently find themselves fourth in the Western Conference.

Unlike the Los Angeles Lakers, who find new and innovative ways to embarrass themselves every night, the Clippers appear to be hitting their stride.

Just 2.5 games separate them from the top of the Western Conference.

A big reason for the Clippers’ success in 2024 has been the stellar play of Kawhi Leonard. He is averaging 23.9 points per game this season on 52.8 percent shooting from the field and 44.2 percent shooting from beyond the arc.

From a shooting efficiency standpoint, Leonard is currently experiencing the best run of his whole career.

Leonard was asked this week what he believes has gone differently for him and the Clippers this season as opposed to last year.

“Not tearing my ACL. And not tearing my meniscus,” he replied.

Leonard had himself a really busy offseason. Between partying it up with Rick Ross, his controversial encounter with a fan and his fun times with his girlfriend, he was always trending for something or other.

Many wondered what impact that would ultimately have on him when the 2023-24 NBA season finally rolled around.

Turns out – not much.

The Clippers are thriving. Leonard is playing great ball. And everything seems to be clicking for both.

Is 2024 the year when Leonard and the Clippers finally take home that ever-elusive NBA championship trophy? An answer one way or the other will come soon enough.
