Jalen Rose offered some angry criticism towards his ex-wife Molly Qerim and her ‘First Take’ partner Stephen A. Smith this week.
Longtime viewers of ‘First Take’ are familiar with a bit that Qerim and Smith do following every Dallas Cowboys defeat. The latter performs an over-the-top mocking of Jerry Jones’ team, while the former patiently tolerates his behavior.
The dynamic duo did their usual shtick on Monday’s ‘First Take’ episode after the Cowboys loss to the San Francisco 49ers this past weekend.
Rose, for whatever reason, took exception.
“So glad I didn’t make a career of content pretending to fake troll the Cowboys,” he wrote on Twitter.
What makes Rose’s statement all the more awkward is the fact that not only is Qerim his ex-wife, but also the pair ended their relationship under particularly messy circumstances. Amid it all, there were rumors involving Qerim and Smith the entire time.
This didn’t go unnoticed by NFL and NBA fans alike.

What is interesting here is that Rose has admitted quite openly how much the rumors about Qerim and Smith hurt him. So why is he opening up this can of worms for himself right now? It’s not entirely clear.
