The Miami Heat are having a rough week.
On Monday night, the team lost Game 2 of their first-round playoff series against the Milwaukee Bucks 132-98. It was a blowout affair from start to finish – leading to Charles Barkley proclaiming that the Bucks would end up sweeping Miami.
Unfortunately, the tough times didn’t end there.
Late Monday, images of the Heat’s jersey design for next season also leaked out.
Needless to say – they didn’t receive the near-universal adoration that the Heat’s city editions have gotten in recent years.
The design largely speaks for itself:
It goes without saying, but fans were not feeling it.

With all due respect I’m just saying you can do better. Simple

This isn’t the first time an unpopular NBA jersey design has leaked out. It happened with the All-Star uniforms and the Boston Celtics’ monstrosity of a City Edition design. But in both of those cases, nobody was expecting much. The Heat, meanwhile, have established a standard of excellence when it comes to jerseys.
Will the powers that be ultimately listen to the backlash, go back to the drawing board, and try to come up with something better? Time will tell.
That’s one way to do it. https://t.co/RVCn0k8Cbz
