College Football Fans React To Alabama Cheerleaders’ Wild Photos

Alabama earned a hard-fought victory over Texas A&M this weekend, despite being without starting quarterback Bryce Young.
Some have suggested that the referees played a pivotal role in the Crimson Tide’s win, but that is neither here nor there.
Aside from the substance of the game itself stealing the show on college football Saturday, an interesting side plot also captured the attention of fans this past weekend.
In the lead-up to the game, Alabama’s Instagram account posted a photo featuring two cheerleaders:

Immediately, both young women became viral sensations.
“Love this photo,” one fan wrote.
“What a great photo,” another added. “You can feel the absolute excitement and joy in the cheerleaders.”
That in turn led to eagle-eyed fans identifying the cheerleaders involved.
One of them, Mary Sergi, boasts more than 106,000 followers on Instagram and routinely blows up for content like this:

Big picture, this has been quite the year for cheerleaders in college football. Between Coach O going viral for his interaction with them, and Michael Irvin doing the same, and then that wild Ohio State video – it has been one thing after another.
In a crazy college football season that has seen fans get really frisky in the stands and players flirt with cheerleaders midgame, nothing is surprising anymore.
This is shaping up to be a crucial week for Alabama football. No. 6 ranked Tennessee is coming to town, and the Vols are no joke this year.
Young will almost certainly be back to lead the Crimson Tide offense, but it remains to be seen if even that will be enough.
Not a great start for the Lakers. https://t.co/RXnxT4iRqR

Obviously a lot of this will come down to Alabama’s defense. Tennessee tops the nation in yards per game and points per game, whereas Saban’s defense allows the sixth-lowest points per game and yards per game.
But no matter how much the Crimson Tide can slow the Vols’ explosive offense down, they’ll need to be able to put points on the board as well.
Hopefully Alabama cheerleaders can give the squad a little extra boost this week – because they’ll definitely need it.
