Tulane Fan Who Went Viral During USC Game Finally Identified
Tulane stunned the entire college football-watching world earlier this week with an impressive 46-45 victory over USC in the Cotton Bowl.
As usual, the Trojans’ defense completely let them down and wasted a 462-yard, five-touchdown effort by quarterback Caleb Williams.
Tulane, meanwhile, ran roughshod over USC’s awful defense behind 205 yards and four touchdowns on 17 carries from running back Tyjae Spears.
Spears wasn’t the Green Wave’s biggest star of the day, though.
No, that honor belonged to a fan whose concerned glance tugged at the nation’s heartstrings:

With social media being what it is nowadays, it didn’t take long to track down the young woman and identify her.
Ellie Fazio, the Tulane fan at the center of all the hubbub, is a student who boasts more than 14,000 followers on Instagram. She did quite well on the platform even before her newfound fame, but obviously this whole situation took things to the next level.

Interestingly enough, Ellie isn’t the only fan to blow up in this fashion recently. An Ohio State fan similarly set the internet ablaze this past week during the Buckeyes’ heartbreaking loss to Georgia.
That is just the nature of the internet these days. Stars are born quickly and for the most random of things.
Tulane was legitimately impressive against USC and deserves their flowers for it.

Ellie, similarly, should enjoy her 15 minutes of fame. It was well-earned.
Who is the next college football personality who will ultimately blow up the internet in unexpected fashion?
Time will tell, but it’ll likely happen at the National Championship Game match-up between Georgia and TCU.
