Tennessee Fan’s Behavior During Georgia Loss Goes Viral

Tennessee came into this weekend with one objective: win against Georgia and secure a top spot in the College Football Playoff.

Unfortunately, they failed.

The Volunteers were thoroughly outplayed by the Bulldogs from start to finish, ultimately showing exactly why so many people were worried that they would fold under the bright lights.

The game itself was so uncompetitive in the second half that the major viral storylines coming out of it proved to be the text message Carson Beck’s mom sent him and a cheerleader’s wild photos leaking out.

Josh Heupel is undeniably a great coach and really restored Tennessee’s respectability in many ways, but he has also not been able to actually turn the Volunteers into a class of the SEC-type program like Georgia.

For what it’s worth, he sort of acknowledged that while speaking to the media this week.

“There are a lot of really good things that we’ve done, and that can be throughout the season or on Saturday,” he said.

“But against Georgia, there’s areas that we got to get better. Offensively, red zone. And I said simple things are the things that are going to matter in the game. The ordinary everyday things, do them at a high level. It’s signal recognition. It’s alignment. It’s, no pre-snap penalties. It’s not changing the way the game is played. And there was just too many instances of Tennessee hurting Tennessee on Saturday.

“And that’s not taking anything away from Georgia. But the things that we can control, we got to be better at. And, ultimately, when we play good on good, those things are going to have a huge impact on the game.”

This weekend, as her team was getting destroyed, a Tennessee fan went viral for her behavior during the game:

Her pouty attitude led to a myriad of reactions:

Tennessee now find itself in an interesting situation. While the loss to Georgia won’t knock them out of the College Football Playoff race, they will now likely find themselves at the bottom of the standings.

Will they be able to shock the world from that position? Time will tell.
