With all that pressure on him, Beck showed up in a big way against the Volunteers. Not only did he lead his squad to victory – he helped them dominate.
Beck went recorded 347 yards, 2 touchdowns and 0 interceptions on 25-of-40 passing. He also ran for 32 yards on just 3 carries, including a 10-yard score early in the second half that gave his squad the lead for good.
