Chase Young’s Ohio State return is set.
Young, arguably the best college football player in the country, was suspended indefinitely last week.
While the specifics of what led up the suspension are not clear, Young himself has said that the punishment was linked to a loan he received from a “family friend.”
Ohio State played this weekend sans Young and absolutely destroyed Maryland 73-14.
Next up the Buckeyes will face Rutgers this weekend, who they will likely dispatch with similar ease.
After that Rutgers game, though, things get interesting.

On Nov. 23 Ohio State plays No. 9 Penn State and one week later No. 14 ranked Michigan.
Young has recorded 15.5 tackles for a loss, 13.5 sacks and five forced fumbles in eight games this season, so his skills will definitely be required against two top-tier squads like the Nittany Lions and Wolverines.
Will Ohio State have him back, though?
It would appear so.
According to Kyle Rowland of The Toledo Blade, Young is facing a maximum two-game suspension.
Multiple sources have told The Blade that a ruling should be made this week regarding Chase Young and that he’s facing a maximum suspension of two games.

That means post-Rutgers, the Buckeyes will look to get him back on the field.
Will Young definitely be back in time for Penn State? It is hard to say with certainty – but things are certainly looking good.
