Michigan State Coach Has Strong Words For Jim Harbaugh

Michigan State coach Mike Dantonio has strong words for Jim Harbaugh.

This weekend the Spartans and Wolverines will square off in a game that, prior to the season starting, many expected would have much higher stakes than it ultimately will.

Unfortunately the wheels fell off for both of these schools over the course of the year and now what was once supposed to be a battle for Big Ten supremacy has transformed into a fight for mediocrity.

While doing a press conference this week, Dantonio was asked what words he would use to describe Harbaugh.

“Intense,” he replied. “And I would say…intense.”

Before the year began many expected Harbaugh’s squad to finally step up and takeover the conference. Urban Meyer was gone and the path seemed clear.

In typical Wolverines fashion, though, they choked in the season’s biggest games before ultimately turning around and winning just enough to save Harbaugh’s job.

The Spartans, meanwhile, are fresh off somehow finding a way to lose versus an Illinois squad that they were up 28-3 on at one point.

That game encapsulated their season in a perfect way.

Anyway, the Spartans and Wolverines will square off on Saturday at Michigan Stadium.

Who will emerge victorious?

It is a fair question, but a better one is: does anyone who is not from the state of Michigan actually care?
