Cam Newton is indisputably one of the most iconic football players of his generation. The accolades speak for themselves. He won an NFL MVP award in 2015, led the Carolina Panthers to a Super Bowl and is a two-time BCS National Champion.

Big picture, while Newton’s playing career is clearly winding down, his profile is only rising. As evidenced by him going viral for his explanation about why he refuses to marry the mom of his 4 kids and him rejecting Brittany Renner to her face – everything he says or does earns strong reactions across the web.
On the field, things haven’t gone great for Newton in recent years. His second run with the Panthers last season was disappointing. As was the messy way things ended between him and the New England Patriots.
But off the field, Newton seems to be thriving.
