Bryce James is one of the most highly-touted high school basketball prospects in the nation. He shares that distinction with his older brother, Bronny.
Because both James boys are so talented, and given that their father is in many people’s eyes one of the two greatest NBA players of all time, their rise to prominence has been highly scrutinized.
Beyond that, despite the fact that Bronny is 18 years old and Bryce is just 15 years old, the two brothers are frequently compared. Their respective sizes, specifically, have been often analyzed in recent years.
This past week Bryce shared a series of photos to his Instagram account featuring both him solo and him along with Bronny. Folks were surprised by their relative heights, given their age gap:

To be fair, it wasn’t always like this. Bryce quite recently underwent a major, extremely noticeable growth spurt. That in turn has led to videos of the youngster absolutely destroying his much smaller competition at various games.
There’s a reason why Bryce is fresh off getting his first college basketball offer despite his age.
It will be interesting to see what sort of players Bryce and Bronny ultimately turn into at the next level. ESPN NBA insider Brian Windhorst offered a very honest assessment of the pair last month.
Whether he will ultimately be proven correct or not remains to be seen.
For now, the next step will be seeing how Bronny does in college. There are currently 5 schools with serious interest in him, but he has yet to tip his hand regarding his personal preference.
Bryce, meanwhile, will continue to make a name for himself in high school. He is off to a strong start. Consistency is key, though.

There is a very legitimate scenario where both James brothers are in the NBA in the not-so-distant future.
Will LeBron still be playing when that happens?
Time will tell.
