Zion Williamson’s Massive New Tattoo Causes A Stir (Photos)

Zion Williamson’s massive new tattoo caused a stir among the NBA community this week.

While the 22-year-old New Orleans Pelicans star continues to be out of action, he has had little trouble staying in the headlines over the past few weeks.

First it was the unfortunate update ESPN insider Brian Windhorst offered about his health, and now its for his new ink.

Photos of Williamson’s tat hit the web on Tuesday and immediately garnered massive reactions across the board.

Fans are understandably excited to see Williamson get back out on the court. His most recent ailment, a hamstring strain, has kept him out of action since Jan. 2.

At he beginning of the season Williamson had the Pelicans looking like a top-tier Western Conference squad. Sort of like what the Sacramento Kings are now – except they have been able to sustain their run all year.

Without him, New Orleans has struggled mightily.

At this point no one can question how good Williamson is. He is a remarkable talent. The only issues surrounding him are unrelated to that.

Between the problems with his size, nonstop weight woes and strange nonsense like his leaked DMs scandal, there has just been one random problem after another.

That is why when Williamson does something otherwise innocuous like reveal his new tattoo, so many NBA fans feel the need to get snippy about it.

They are tired of such an incredible player seemingly only making headlines for stuff unrelated to playing.

Will Williamson, new tattoo and all, return to the Pelicans at some point before the season ends? Time will tell.
