Why is Cris Carter suddenly out at Fox Sports?

On Thursday morning, Fox Sports released a statement announcing that their relationship with NFL legend, Carter, has come to an end.

“Cris Carter is no longer with Fox Sports. There is no further comment at this time,” the statement notes.

Carter initially linked up with Fox Sports in 2016 and began hosting First Things First in September 2017.

According to Front Office Sports, Carter was reportedly dissatisfied with his role in Fox Sports’ NFL coverage and it led to a blow-up of some sort.

It remains to be seen who Fox Sports will replace Carter with on First Things First.
