Based on the schedule ahead for the Wolverines and the way they have played up to this point, the answer to that question appears to be a definitive yes.

In light of Michigan’s embarrassing defeat at the hands of Wisconsin this past weekend, ESPN’s Football Power Index now projects Harbaugh’s squad to complete the season with a 7-5 record.

Michigan is expected to lose on Oct. 19 against the Penn State Nittany Lions, Oct. 26 versus the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Nov. 30 against the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Somewhere along the way they are also figured to drop at least one game they were expected to win.
Harbaugh is expected to be out with even a three-loss season, so if Michigan hits four losses before the year even ends, he may not make it to the Ohio State game.
