Ex-UFC star Pearl Gonzalez found a way to make a big impression on the world of mixed martial arts in a relatively short amount of time.

While her run with Dana White’s promotion only spanned two actual fights, she parlayed that star power into repeated Bare Knuckle Fighting bouts as well as a showing on Jorge Masvidal’s Gamebred Boxing fight card.

Along the way, Gonzalez has built up a massive social media following. Any time she posts anything nowadays, it immediately blows up online. And the pattern held true this week.

A while back, Gonzalez showed off the interesting new chest tattoo she got. Well, apparently she didn’t like it too much, because she just got it removed.

@pearl_gonzalez Tattoo removal day! 😅 Currently removing 3️⃣, might go back and start removing more.. Ready to get rid of all of my tattoos. #Tattoo #tattooremoval #fy #fyp #fypシ #laser #laserhairremoval #never #toolate ♬ original sound – PearlGonzalez

Gonzalez is an interesting character and a permanent fixture in MMA headlines.

Between that provocative Dana White video she posted and her wild morning videos, it’s just one thing after another with her.

It is incredible the sort of relevancy she has been able to maintain. Again, this is a girl who lost by submission to Cynthia Calvillo and then dropped a bout to Poliana Botelho by unanimous decision.

That was it. That was her whole UFC run.

And yet despite that, you can argue that Gonzalez remains one of the more noteworthy female names in the sport.

What a world.

How will Gonzalez ultimately work herself into the headlines going forward? Time will tell.
