Ex-UFC Star Pearl Gonzalez Shares Wild Dana White Video

Ex-UFC star Pearl Gonzalez is one of the most recognizable fighters of her generation.

Although Gonzalez’s run in the world’s foremost mixed martial arts (MMA) organization lasted a mere two bouts, both definitely stood out.

In her first showdown, Gonzalez faced off against and lost to Cynthia Calvillo by submission. At the time, the latter was regarded by many as a potential future title contender. In her second match, Gonzalez fell to Poliana Botelho by decision.

That marked the end of Gonzalez’s UFC run. In the years since, she has split her time between MMA with Invicta and bare-knuckle boxing with the BKFC.

This past week, Gonzalez found herself trending on social media after posting a very public message to her old boss, Dana White.

White, of course, is the architect of Power Slap – and it appears to have gotten Gonzalez’s attention.

@pearl_gonzalez Hey @danawhite, here is my audition for @powerslap.. I will be your first ever women’s Slap champion!! 👋 Thanks to your producer @gary_defranco147 for letting me slap the shihhh outta him! 🤪✨👊🏼 #slap #powerslap #LFG ♬ original sound – PearlGonzalez

MMA fans loved it.

“Me next,” one person wrote.

“I don’t have the guts… I flinch,” another joked.

Gonzalez has actually been in the headlines quite a bit in recent years. Between her memorable Halloween costume and wild morning routine, she knows how to make herself a mainstay in the general news cycle.

This most recent viral video was just the latest example of that. Obviously White won’t respond, given that he is currently fending off accusations of cheating on his wife with his sister, but under different circumstances who knows.

Over the years, Gonzalez has proven that she knows how to do a lot with just a little bit of attention. Will she be able to turn that valuable skill into an opportunity with White and Power Slap? Time will tell.
