Tennessee Cheerleaders’ Wild Video Trends On College Football Gameday

Tennessee has been one of the best stories in college football this year.

Just a few seasons removed from being a national embarrassment, this program has been revitalized under head coach Josh Heupel and now looks to be a legit championship contender.

The Vols aren’t just doing big things on the field, though. Their cheerleaders have also been making a big impression on a weekly basis. And this past week was no exception.

In a now-viral video, Tennessee’s cheerleading squad drew acclaim across social media for their wild antics on Halloween:

You love to see. And reactions poured in immediately. Understandably, they were overwhelmingly positive.

“Always love Halloween practice,” one person wrote.

“Always so creative,” another person added.

This isn’t the first time in recent weeks the cheerleading squad has blown up like this. They also produced a particularly memorable video in October.

Tennessee has provided some of the most exhilarating moments of this college football season thus far. Between a fan cheering so loud her shirt fell off, the national awakening regarding how attractive the Vols’ female fans are and now this – it has been one thing after another.

Obviously this has been sort of a messy week in Tennessee collegiate sports. College football reporter Kasey Funderburg losing her gig over some controversial tweets was unfortunate.

But the Vols’ incredible effort every time they take the field is an incredible palate cleanser. Ditto for the cheerleaders’ admirable effort on a weekly basis.

Regardless of what happens this particular weekend, Tennessee is College Football Playoff-bound so long as there are no missteps against Missouri, South Carolina or Vanderbilt.

Will this be the year the Vols win it all and restore a lot of dignity to a once-proud program?

A definitive answer will emerge soon enough.
