Richard Jefferson Addresses Viral Chiney Ogwumike Video

Richard Jefferson, Chiney Ogwumike and Malika Andrews are three of the more prominent NBA personalities at ESPN these days.

While they are often accompanied by a rotating cast of characters, this particular trio often finds itself together breaking down games and players for the Worldwide Leader in Sports.

Generally, their segments are pretty mundane and uneventful. This past week, that changed.

On a recent episode of their ESPN NBA show, Jefferson and Ogwumike had an encounter that immediately went viral.

Fan reaction to the moment was mixed.

The whole thing picked up so much life online that Jefferson himself had to come out and address it.

To be fair, the video clearly backs up Jeffersonā€™s account of events. You can see how some fans might get confused given the angles involved, but clearly nothing is amiss here.

This has been a busy few weeks for ESPN personalities. Between Brian Windhorst recently going viral for his New York Knicks revelation and Andrews blowing up for her Lakers confession, it has been one thing after another.

This most recent situation is just par for the course.

Will Jefferson and Ogwumike be able to move on from this awkward incident with minimal blowback? Time will tell.
