Late Thursday night President Donald Trump announced that he and First Lady Melania Trump had come down with COVID-19.
The news was met with bewilderment and shock across the globe.
Although most responses to the revelation operated under the assumption that it was true, one NFL player went a different route.
Former NFL running back Reggie Bush accused President Trump of a conspiracy and suggested he wasn’t buying that he truly had COVID-19.
“Teflon Don just wants the attention on him,” he wrote.
“Now the entire world will be on Trump watch. Now you test positive? After all the rallies with no masks you held, now you conveniently catch COVID after that disastrous debate?”

In all seriousness I’m around people every single day and have been since the end of April/early May. Several different people. Especially every weekend. I just got covid about 3 weeks ago. It’s crazy how our bodies work— I had really thought there for a while I was “immune”

Bush is a 10-year NFL veteran, having played for the New Orleans Saints, Miami Dolphins, Detroit Lions, San Francisco 49ers and Buffalo Bills.
Currently, he serves as a college football in-studio analyst for FOX Sports.
