The ongoing saga between Charlotte Hornets forward P.J. Washington and the mother of his child, Brittany Renner, has taken an ugly turn.
Over the weekend Washington posted a series of troubling messages to social media.
In the messages, Washington describes just how tenuous his relationship with Renner has gotten – and how the ramifications of that are beginning to impact their baby.

About a year ago Washington and Renner went Instagram-official and appeared to be a happy set of soon-to-be parents. Things even seemed fine throughout Renner’s pregnancy, but then appeared to fall apart following the baby’s birth.
In subsequent social media posts, Washington suggested that he felt like he was used by Renner for the purposes of financial security.
Renner is an Instagram model who had previously been romantically linked to the likes of James Harden, Drake, Lil Uzi Vert, Jamal Murray, Ben Simmons, Trey Songz, Chris Brown and Colin Kaepernick over the years. She also often used to post about how many celebrities and athletes she’d slept with.
This has added fuel to the fire that she was just interested in Washington for his money.

On Friday, Washington posted a blunt message directed at both Renner and his haters.
Renner has yet to respond.
Based on everything that has transpired thus far, it’s safe to say this story isn’t going away any time soon.
