Shaq Gets Brutally Honest About Celtics’ Dennis Schroder

Dennis Schroder’s remarkable free agency run came to an end this past week when he agreed to sign with the Boston Celtics for the $5.9 million taxpayer midlevel exception.

Given that he vehemently rejected an $84 million contract extension from the Los Angeles Lakers because he firmly believed he was worth more than $100 million, Schroder’s free agency was a train wreck NBA fans couldn’t turn away from.

This week, Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal took to social media to express his feelings on Schroder’s disastrous offseason.

His take immediately went viral.

“Things that make you go hmmmmmm #whatthehellareyouthinking,” O’Neal captioned the post.

At this point, everyone has weighed in on Schroder’s failed free agency. It has gotten to the point where even the 27-year-old came out and issued a defiant 5-word statement regarding what transpired. And then his wife had to do the same.

Next season either Schroder will come out, prove his haters wrong and secure himself a massive payday – or his decision to pass on the Lakers’ deal will go down in NBA history as one of the worst decisions ever.

Which one will it be? Time will tell.
