Charlotte Hornets forward PJ Washington has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons lately.
Over the past few weeks, troubling details have emerged regarding the break-up between him and the mother of his new baby, Brittany Renner.
Roughly a year ago Washington and Renner went Instagram-official and appeared to be a happy couple. Things seemed fine throughout the latter’s pregnancy, but then seemed to fall apart following the baby’s birth. In subsequent social media posts, Washington suggested that he felt like he was used by Renner for the purposes of financial security.
Renner is an Instagram model who has been romantically linked to the likes of James Harden, Drake, Lil Uzi Vert, Jamal Murray, Ben Simmons, Trey Songz, Chris Brown and Colin Kaepernick over the years. She also frequently used to post about how many celebrities and athletes she’d slept with.
Earlier this week, reports surfaced that Washington now owed Renner six figures monthly for child support. On Wednesday, the Hornets big man took to social media to dispel those rumors:

Along the way, he also dropped a 7-word message to both Renner and his haters:

Quite the ominous message.
