Paul Finebaum Offers A Surprising Take On Notre Dame

Paul Finebaum offers a surprising take on Notre Dame during his weekly radio appearance on 94.5 WJOX.

Finebaum, someone who has historically bashed the Fighting Irish at every turn, admitted on Monday that he was impressed with Notre Dame’s effort versus Georgia.

Although Notre Dame ultimately lost to the Bulldogs 23-17, they kept the game close throughout and looked like they very much deserved to be on the field with their SEC opponents.

“Maybe it got a little too big at times for them,” he said.

“But what they did at the end of the game in the second half I thought was significant. I’m like a lot of people, I didn’t think it’d be close and I came away really impressed with Notre Dame,” Finebaum noted.
