Are the Patriots replacing Tom Brady with Jarrett Stidham?
Some people seem to think so.
Stidham, 23, entered the preseason as the presumed No. 3 option at quarterback for New England.
In the Patriots’ most recent preseason outing, Stidham took took all of the snaps against the New York Giants.

The former Auburn quarterback threw for 225 yards and two touchdowns (and one interception) against the Giants on 18-of-28 passing.

Stidham did all this damage while playing alongside first team receiving options like Demaryius Thomas, Josh Gordon, and Julian Edelman.
All of this has prompted speculation that Stidham is the new heir apparent in New England, not Brian Hoyer.

While appearing on Undisputed today, Fox Sports talking head Skip Bayless suggested that a change in quarterback could be on the horizon for the Patriots.

Brady is essentially taking things one year at a time at this point in his career.
It will be interesting to see what happens if the Patriots begin to feel like they have another great quarterback they can replace him with.
