Ezekiel Elliot Ignoring Cowboys, Wants Better Offer

Ezekiel Elliot is ignoring the Cowboys, wants a better offer from them.

Elliot, 24, has been sitting out this preseason in hopes that Dallas will realize how badly he is needed.

He is reportedly looking to become the highest paid running back in the NFL, but the Cowboys seem to only want to make him the second highest paid running back in the sport.

Elliot has led the NFL in rushing in two out of the last three seasons. In the one year that he did not lead the league in rushing, 2017, he got a late start due to a six-game suspension to start the year.

Over the course of his first three seasons in the league, Elliot has rushed for 4,048 yards and the team is 16-3 when he rushes for more than 100 yards in a game. Last year, he also racked up 77 receptions.

Elliot is currently entering the final year of a 4-year, $25 million deal that was signed back in 2016.
