Patrick Mahomes is coming off the latest Super Bowl victory of his career.
Despite being injured, even though many doubted that his Kansas City Chiefs could beat the likes of the Buffalo Bills, Cincinnati Bengals or Philadelphia Eagles, he found a way to cement his legacy by winning a second championship in a three-year span.
To the winners go the spoils, and Mahomes has been celebrating nonstop this summer. Between partying it up in Vegas with the boys and then having a good time with his wife at home, Mahomes has been making the most of his offseason.
The downside to that? He appears to not be in the best of shape right now.
This week, imagery surfaced of Mahomes with what appears to be a fat stomach.
Fans were quick to take notice.

Mahomes is no different than a lot of players. Many of them leave for the summer and then turn up looking different than when you last saw them.
The same thing happened this week when Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was spotted out with his wife and everyone noticed their change in appearance.
At least Zach Wilson is doing well for himself off the field. https://t.co/hlFld8xEv4

That said, given that Mahomes is the face of the NFL, he is always going to get scrutinized just a little bit harder.
Fortunately for the Chiefs and all other parties involved, there is still a long ways to go before the new season begins.
Will Mahomes get in shape in time for his squad’s 2023-24 NFL campaign? Time will tell.
