Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and his one-time fiancée Shailene Woodley have been the subject of much conversation in recent months.
Most recently, the pair made headlines for their extremely public break-up and the troubling allegations that came out of it.
That said, circumstances appear to be changing. Many signs point to potential reconciliation between the pair.
This week, insiders described what ultimately led to them getting back together and how permanent of an arrangement this feels like it may be.
“Things are different now, but they were definitely over,” the insider told US Weekly. “Now that Aaron is in [the] offseason, he has more downtime and can focus more on a relationship. Shailene is understanding and open — she hasn’t shut the door completely or [she] would’ve never agreed to meet up with him.”
By all accounts the pair now “talking things through and trying to keep things private.”
It will be interesting to see where this duo goes from here. Many assumed that their split would be permanent. So much so, in fact, that even Rodgers’ ex-girlfriend Danica Patrick seemed to acknowledge it.
But now that’s very much up in the air.
On one hand, the rationale for Rodgers and Woodley’s original determination to go their separate ways hasn’t really changed. The jealousy troubles that followed them with growing prevalence and the increasing concern surrounding their diverging personal opinions likely remain in place.
For whatever reason, though – they now apparently feel like those things will no longer be an issue.
From the jump, Rodgers and Woodley have been a pairing that has been unable to escape the public eye. No matter what they do and when opt to do it, the cameras are always there.

Based on that recent history, its unlikely that circumstances will change any time soon. For better or worse, the status of this pair’s relationship will likely continue to be a front-page story.
Where will they go from here? Time will tell.
