Spencer Rattler will make his first start as an NFL quarterback this week when he subs in for an injured Derek Carr in the New Orleans Saints’ game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Carr, who got off to a great start this season, will miss several outings due to an oblique injury. That has opened the door for Rattler to slide in.
Ahead of Rattler’s big debut, his girlfriend Yazmina Gonzalez saw her wild personal photos go viral. It proved to be the second-biggest NFL story of the week, right after the female Houston Texans fan who promised to take her shirt off if they won and then paid off the bet.

Rattler’s debut with the Saints promises to be interesting. It will be really telling to see how he looks and fares against legit NFL competition.
Obviously his collegiate run was a little up and down, so there are a lot of questions regarding what Rattler can bring to the table at the pro level.
