Seahawks Unveil Largest Super Bowl Ring Ever Made. Here’s What’s Inside the LX Champions’ Hardware

The Seattle Seahawks received their Super Bowl LX rings Thursday night and they didn’t come quietly. The franchise teamed with Jason of Beverly Hills to build what’s now the largest Super Bowl championship ring ever produced. The thing is a piece of art and the design hides a few tricks you have to see to believe.
The centerpiece is loaded with blue sapphires, the Seahawks logo, and two Lombardi Trophies representing both of Seattle’s titles. Fifty round white diamonds ring the logo to honor the franchise’s 50th season. That alone makes it heavier than most Super Bowl rings ever produced. The trick is what’s underneath.
The Removable Top That Becomes a Pendant
This is the headliner. The top of the ring detaches and converts into a pendant that can be worn on a chain. That’s a first in Super Bowl ring history. Players got the championship ring and an actual piece of wearable jewelry for life. Smart, classy, and exactly the kind of detail that makes other organizations chase the standard going forward.
Hidden under the removable top sits an authentic piece of a football used during the season, set behind the number 50. The Seahawks didn’t just commemorate the season. They literally embedded the season inside the ring.
The “12 Flag” Button
The most fun touch might be the small “12 Flag” button on the side. Press it and the Lumen Field arches expand outward to reveal the words “WORLD CHAMPIONS.” It’s the kind of secret feature you show off to anyone who’s never seen it before, and every Seahawks fan should be jealous they don’t have one of their own.
The Ceremony Itself
The Seahawks held a private ring ceremony for players and staff on June 11. Seattle released a video showing the rings descending from the ceiling in boxes that landed at each player’s table. Theatrical, yes. But this is what you do when you’ve just delivered the franchise its second Super Bowl trophy.
Metro Boomin performed. Chris Pratt was in the room. The vibe was every bit as big as the hardware.
Why the Seahawks Earned the Right to Go Big
Seattle had been chasing this second ring since the Marshawn Lynch and Russell Wilson days, and the franchise had to bury the memory of the goal-line interception against the Patriots in Super Bowl XLIX to fully exhale. They did it. Mike Macdonald’s defense was historic. The offense found another gear in January. Then they finished the job in February.
If you’re going to design the largest Super Bowl ring ever made, you better deserve it. The Seahawks do.
The Last Word
Super Bowl rings tend to chase each other in size and audacity every year. The Chiefs set a high bar with their LVIII ring stuffed with diamonds. The Eagles did the same with LIX. The Seahawks just took the crown and added a feature no one else can match.
The bar is officially higher for whoever wins Super Bowl LXI. Whatever team that ends up being, they’re going to have to do a lot more than throw diamonds at a piece of gold to top this.
