Seahawks Lose Another Important Player
The Seahawks lost another important player this week.
Just days after losing wide receiver Josh Gordon to an indefinite suspension, Seattle learned that Al Woods was also being suspended.
Unlike Gordon, Woods was a proven and reliable player on the Seahawks roster that they will miss going forward.
Woods started in five outings for Seattle and has been an important part of the defensive rotation in all 14 games he has participated in. To date, he has recorded 32 tackles and one sack.
#Seahawks DT Al Woods is being suspended 4 games for violating the NFL’s policy on PEDs, sources say. He started 5 games for Seattle.

While the reason for Woods’ suspension was initially unclear, NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport later revealed it was due a violation of the league’s PED policy.
That means Woods will be out for four games, which rules him out for the rest of Seattle’s regular season games and any postseason games they participate in.
The Seahawks have had some bad luck when it comes to their health. Quandre Diggs, Shaquill Griffin, Bobby Wagner and Jadeveon Clowney all sat out of practice this week.
Seattle will have to figure out a way to patch up the defensive holes quickly as showdowns with the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers loom.
