Jerry Jones Reveals Cowboys Trade Target
Jerry Jones revealed the Dallas Cowboys’ trade target in a recent interview.
With the NFL trade deadline set to come and go on Oct. 29, many teams are scrambling to make moves that will improve their fortunes.
While speaking to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram this week, Jones admitted that his squad was one of the ones looking to make a move.

According to Jones, Dallas wants to upgrade their roster at the safety position to find a replacement for strong safety Jeff Heath.

Reshad Jones of the Miami Dolphins and free agent Eric Berry have both been floated as possible options, but nothing official has been confirmed up to this point.
Similarly, Jamal Adams or Marcus Maye of the New York Jets have had their names thrown out there – but that rumor was subsequently dismissed.
The Cowboys, of course, are no strangers to making big moves before the deadline. One year ago they traded for Oakland Raiders wide receiver Amari Cooper in a move that essentially revitalized their entire offense.
As it stands, Dallas is coming out if its bye week with a 4-3 record and staring at a somewhat rough stretch of games over the next month and change.
If the team stands pat and does not make a move, only to flounder in the second half of the season, Jones will no doubt be kicking himself for not pulling the trigger on an upgrade when he had the chance.
