New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones had himself quite the rookie campaign in 2021-22.
Despite coming into the season with minimal expectations and not a ton of hype, he played well enough to keep his squad ahead of other divisional foes. Not only that, but he even ensured the Patriots made their first playoff appearance since Tom Brady’s departure.
The future looks bright in New England with Jones at the helm. And the youngster doesn’t just have a ton of game on the football field. He does well off it as well.
This week, Jones went viral for a message he posted in the comment section of his girlfriend Sophie Scott’s vacation photo:

Jones’ response speaks for itself:
Understandably, folks had some reactions to that compliment. But this isn’t the first time one of Jones’ comments has gone viral in this fashion.
Back in April, Jones’ odd 3-word comment at the bottom of one of Scott’s posts also led to some head-scratching.
Scott, of course, is no stranger to going viral for her various Instagram offerings:

Big picture, Jones and Scott are quite the dynamic duo. She played an instrumental role in him earning the starting quarterback slot over Cam Newton last year and her support has been a key motivating factor.
Plus, they take great photos together for the holidays – which is just an added bonus.

So long as Jones improves in Year 2, he and Scott will continue to find themselves in the headlines with regularity.
What will they ultimately go viral for next?
Time will tell.
