Jimmy Garoppolo Has Message For Patrick Mahomes
Jimmy Garoppolo has a message for Patrick Mahomes.
That message? You’re a good dude.
The last time Garoppolo squared off against the Kansas City Chiefs, he ended up suffering a torn ACL.
This week, in the lead-up to the Super Bowl, Garoppolo shared Mahomes’ reaction to his ACL tear.
After the injury occurred, Mahomes apparently went out of his way to locate Garoppolo deep in the tunnels of Arrowhead Stadium and wish him a speedy recovery.
The gesture meant a lot to Garoppolo.
Patrick Mahomes didn’t even know Jimmy Garoppolo, but he found him at Arrowhead Stadium after Garoppolo tore his ACL last season to offer well wishes.
“For him to do something as simple as that, it went a long way,” Garoppolo said of Mahomes.

“For him to do something as simple as that, it went a long way,” Garoppolo said.
Now these two will meet once again, this time with a championship on the line.
Mahomes, the MVP in 2018, struggled with injuries earlier in the year.
Fortunately, he was able to recover quickly and is now leading his squad on an improbable run – peaking at just the right time.
Garoppolo, meanwhile, recovered well from the ACL tear and has guided his team past the likes of the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers to get to this point.
Which young quarterback will ultimately come out victorious? We’ll find out soon enough.
Super Bowl LIV takes place live from Miami, Florida, on February 2.
